Steady Your Turn

This wonderful time of the year is the culmination of so much transformation.

For you, it could be the growth you’ve seen in your dynamic personality and in your relationships. Maybe a separating and moving on to explore new circles of interest and gathering opportunities.

Maybe your work has been limited due to the disruption across the nation, and now you must reframe your gifts to capture new ideation or ways of innovating creativity in the earth.

I’ve seen a tearing down to build up. The process has been needful but not all the time easy. Plucking up attitudes and habits hasn’t been comfortable. It’s the nature of transition and transformation.

When you finally let go and take the deep exhale to move forward in spite of what you see or feel, then the winds of change push you faithfully toward a new height and level of destiny.

Standing on your mountain, what do you see?

I see you unsure yet with a knowing that this turn will mark one of your greatest moves yet.

How will you steady your turn moving into 2023?

In my Stillness time, I see the words “Steady your turn.” Continue with the process, even if it is difficult. It will present an opportunity for you to achieve the discipline you’ve been craving and looking up to reach.

Consistency is the mark of a successful plan, project, or behavior change. Day after day, even when it gets monotonous and the excitement of the goal dwindles. You’re learning that living off of your emotions won’t help you steady your turn. Emotional turbulence will give you pockets of highs and lows. It’s time to upgrade your emotional coping skills because that last season, with its choppy ups and downs caused you delay, and now onward completion is the only vibration you’re feeling.

Tighten your seatbelt. You are now fixed to just do the darn thing.

Why?

In your Stillness time, you embraced that God alone is your stabilizer, who keeps you level and straight.

There was a checkpoint during this year when your life compass became clearer and better understood. You realized that if you stop going south, the north would mark the true outcome of overcoming.

Steady your turn.

Listen for the shift. Do you pull up, push down, on hold position?

The winds are blowing, and life is turning. But the sudden changes around the bend won’t capsize your goal if the vision is written down. Keep it close to you - literally - to frequently meditate on.

You need these stillness moments to keep yourself balanced.

Here are transformative keys to help you steady your turn:

#1 deal with Not knowing how to turn.

First, you have to want to know.

Fear of the unknown keeps you stuck. The song and dance of resistance places you into another season, another year, one more day, of compromising your present-day ability to perform your distinctive best. Get connected to your stillness time and ask God to connect you with someone who can help you detach from what’s holding you back. Resolve it in a co-active way.

I’d have to admit that once I acknowledged the trauma experienced from the recent Pandemic, I began to have a desire for the unknown. I accepted that I was in shock for the first half of the crisis event, even though I was learning a lot of new applications and platforms. Once I began to create new products, I stopped shying away from what I didn’t know. I curbed complaining about it, resenting it, protesting against it, and doing battle with it.

If you want to know how to turn your energy, and focus on coming to terms with the transformative steps for your successful goal, or behavior change, get support with the process of acceptance. Remedy your reality that life’s flight isn’t neat and tidy.

Use your energy to plan a realistic course of action and learn how to turn.

Are you experiencing a loss of control when turning? Acceptance of what you don’t know will lead you to the next key…

2. Understand your maneuvering phase.

There are so many types of turns, so you’re going to have to understand how to transition without taking a nosedive.

What do you pull on during this shift?

What do you push away from?

During this phase, it’s good to identify what you need to catch up on and what you need to slow down in order to reach your target goal or behavior change.

Again, stillness time will allow you the space to listen and determine if this is the moment to take a risk and grab hold of opportunities that bring you higher with work and in life.

Up level your focus.

If slowing down is what you need, quiet allows the body it’s chance to talk.

Whatever your task, it will take skill and care to achieve success. The skills can be soft or hard. The care can be pointing toward self.

Reflect and discern whether you need to change direction.

I get very excited starting new projects.  The creativity high is on another level. But I also know to stay alert and open to processes that aren’t working. I can’t get immediately attached to an idea. Staying open to see the shortcomings and self-realizations. Acknowledging ways I can do it smarter are realistic wins. Always yielding and transforming to get the end results I want and need to be successful.

A steady level turn right now is what I’m hearing.

Receive these words like refreshing water. What last-minute maneuvers are you planning in the final days of 2022?

I saw a video that said Learn to turn; your life and the work of your hands could depend on it.

How are you tracking your process and progress? What are you using to measure success points? Is what you’re visualizing for work and life realistic and forgiving?

3. This turn requires patience and faith.

I learned that a steady level turn in flight verbiage means there isn’t any acceleration.

How patient are you in that atmosphere? A time when your dedicated and consistent methods are less glam.  Few see the shine, but this perspective is powerfully quiet. Peaceful movement, some call routine.

These stationary times shouldn’t bore you. You know how to chart progress and see movement where others miss the beneficial offset that steady activities provide.

I’ve been journaling a list of steady activities that require my patience and faith. Seeing the progress after reviewing my 66-day measurement tracker has been quite calming. Using the instructions to steady-level turning in pursuing my goals and dreams has kept anxiety and worry to a minimum. I see that I’ll reach my goal on the horizon ~ and I’m staying faithful to what steady means for my destiny.

How will you avoid agitating this steady level-turning moment? What unwavering and consistent actions are you doing or planning to start this month?

Are you integrating your purpose and core beliefs with these actions to uniquely firm up Q1 2023?

I hear the words, “Steady your turn.”
