Stillness
How do you practice and disciple yourself to rest in Stillness Time?
I am frequently asked what is Stillness Time. It’s a moment that you commit to daily surrender your brain, motives, and energy in exchange for a full immersion into Christ. His presence penetrates your spirit and radiates love that stirs up creativity, light, and the power of Holy Spirit.
What happens during this time of rest and solitude?
You are renewed, refreshed, restored and ready to move forward in your daily walk and work. Ideas spring forth, and you see it generate from a different, fresher perspective. The ability to forgive and let go of any bitterness, anger or malice is shattered because you have exchanged the love of Christ for inner battles you could have never won on your own. You have restored your soul and now really appreciate being in right alignment with God and others.

How do you start this daily discipline?
Be courageous enough to be uncomfortable. Be ready to hear a whisper telling you, “This is the way..” Resist music that tries to lead you into a specific mood. This takes some experience because we lean into what we are familiar with, and miss the goal we want to achieve during this time. Only be led by Holy Spirit, which again draws you into humble, vulnerable but invigorating encounters of life as I believe Christ intends. My belief comes from my experience.
Living in Stillness is a lifestyle strategy. It’s embarking on a transformation journey that will awaken The Blended Self. Moments that you’ll want to journal.
