You surround me with your abiding love. Fear flees in this time of stillness. I just feel the weight of love perfected and faithful.

You surround me with new life and your fullness of joy. So wide, deep, rising to my ankles, my waist, shoulders and yet higher. Over my head with new joyful life!

You surround me with your friendship. I am thankful to you for befriending me, choosing me, dwelling with me during my present transition.

In the stillness today...

Breakthrough is taking place in my stillness time today. As you are the Father of Light. You told me I am a friend of your light. We connect like dear friends do. I see light in my life, in my family, in my marriage, in my health, in my career, in the fullness of my purpose. You care about all of it. In your careful light, I see light.

Let my work be a reflection of your light. A mirror of your righteousness, justice, and agape love.

Lord, You are my friend that goes before me to break through dicey barriers I didn’t think I would overcome, but your goodness gives me exactly what I need.  It wasn’t what I wanted; it was uniquely what I needed. 

In my stillness, I connect with my good and expected end for deliverance and victory - - in every portion of my life. Every strand, every thread, every cell, every breath. Perfect love moves through me. Joy fills me. His friendship is joined to my heart and miraculously I hear only one heartbeat. 

I see a beautiful pineapple post with a gate opening. More movement is happening in this quiet still moment than has happened all week. The push to open this gate is a gentle mercy we’ve been desiring. Let your footsteps glide firmly on a surfboard of goodness and mercy. The splash of Christ’s awakening is making a turning point in your life today; allowing you to now see him as Friend.

A friend holds the other’s hand. A friend listens to your murmurings but turns the frustration into hope. They choose you before you thought of choosing them. For they see a beauty in your authenticity. They know your raw angst presses toward a wider, higher resolve. A friend abides with you, and helps you reconcile the fullness of joy that fare weather connections could never offer.

Your commitment to be still is now turning into a deeper relationship and communion with a friend.
