How To Get To The Point
It’s so much easier to lie down than it is to stand. The familiar and comfortable watching of others doing what you’d like to do. But discomfort will replace that perspective when vision and purpose calls you to ‘stop watching...stand and start doing.’
I see many sitting up, preparing to stand and take the next step toward their purpose-filled vision. It’s almost like the awe-moment has come full circle and you are ready to be exhaled on the earth.
Your stillness time is the precious quiet where the bubbling of your strength and potential is being formed or reformed. You are moved to sit up and even stand in your place of stillness. There is a stirring calling you to arise and exhale your next possibility of creative greatness.
By now, your stillness time should be different than when you first begun this practice. You should have different experiences in different environments with different revelations. You can now patiently wait while standing. The unique pointers are creating a revival of purpose toward your destiny.
What do you see? What do you hear?
During this season, God has spoken to you. Your recent discipline to get up, rise above the noise and hear what you’ve needed for a fuller, transformed life will stand the test. A vision not tested is a malnourished idea; starving from a lack of focus.
I have come away from these months seeing fear removed from vision’s path. I hear the quiet sound of an opening....a full-circle turn around moment. The truth sat up, then stood firmly allowing stillness to steady the hard work.
I believe you’ve made life-transforming decisions for the turn ahead. While practicing stillness you chose to move forward while feeling resistance - - that endurance process is how breakthrough occurs.
Today make a list of the personal and professional areas where you’ve broken through comfort and achieved uncomfortable creative greatness. The list can be from 1 to 101, but remember there should be a signpost created from the disruptive defining moment.
