Hold on Tight

I’m very thankful for the friendships I have. Friendsgiving is a precious celebration of brotherly and sisterly love. This week, I had a precious opportunity to spend time with my best friend since first grade. My long-time friend came to New Orleans for her mom’s home-going. Not sure if you know what this means... anyway our time together was as if we’d never been apart. Even throughout the difficult day of the funeral, we held one another tight, and shared so many memories and hurts allowing this divine appointment to heal us. It was our time for an emotional healing.

It IS the season for your next journey - your next personal transformation.

Friendsgiving. Thanksgiving. Hold on to your friendships. The memories only you two, or three will understand and laugh at. Hold on to your family friendships that push you to the brink on many occasions. Forgive them for the soulish chaos they’ve put in the casserole dish. Turkey! Be grateful for your coworkers. Some will push your buttons and others will dance your happy dance. Be grateful you both have a statement of why and how. Sit at your table of meeting with values that align. “Would you pass the mutual success?”

Hold on to the good memories, and let the hard ones wash over you. Like a wave, let it come and then let it go. Be praiseworthy to God for He is elevating you today. In thought and action, he knows where you are right now. He knows you may be seeing a couple of arrows pointing in a couple of different directions. No matter- be grateful He will prove and enlarge you. Greater understanding will come when you decide to yield to His compass.

Hold on tight to this life, your voice, the breath of God’s spirit, the talents and skills wrapped in your personal bow. Hold on to the simple joy of gratitude. Let the fresh and anointed breeze blow or let the rain fall on your many thankful moments. Offer those gracious experiences up to the heavens. Watch it return back to the thankful seeds you’ve sown one-hundred fold.

I decree your next step will be a grateful one. Your next success will be a mutually loving one. Your next opportunity will be a yielded one.

Hold on tight. There’s so much to be thankful for... Thankfully Live Life Today! #ejencalarde #livelifetoday
